In the United States, Mission-style burritos generally consist of a lightly steamed or grilled tortilla filled with rice, beans, meat, cheese, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. In Mexico, burritos are often filled simply with refried beans and meat.

The ingredients needed to make Classic Burritos:
  1. Get Main
  2. Get 1 lb ground beef
  3. Get 16 oz Can Refried Beans
  4. Make ready 32 oz Wolf Brand Chili with beans
  5. Take 1 medium Jalapeno diced
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup White Onion diced
  7. Get 1/4 cup Green Bell Pepper diced
  8. Get 1/2 medium sized Tomatoe diced
  9. Get 1 packages Flour Tortillas
  10. Get 1 packages Shredded Cheese (your choice)
  11. Prepare 3/4 cup Water
  12. Prepare Spices
  13. Prepare 1 packages Taco Seasoning
  14. Take 1 tsp Chili Powder
  15. Get 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  16. Make ready 1 tsp Ground Red Pepper (Cayenne)
  17. Get 1 pinch Kosher Salt (optional)

Top with dollops of the remaining sour cream. *Optional: for soft burritos, place each unbaked burrito on an individual microwavable plate. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper or foil; set aside. In medium bowl, mix beans, cheese and taco seasoning mix. Find burritos at El Pollo Loco stuffed with fresh ingredients, like our Ranchero Burrito, Chipotle Chicken Avocado, and the original BRC, all customizable.

Instructions to make Classic Burritos:
  1. In a 10 inch skillet pan put diced veggies(not tomatoes) and beef to brown. High Heat
  2. Prepare rectangle casserole dish by spraying with Pam and spreading 1/2 can of Wolf Brand Chile on the bottom of dish.
  3. Once beef and veggies have browned pour in 3/4 cup of water and add all the spices. Stir and mix all together. Reduce to medium heat and add 1 can Refried Beans stir and let boil. Once boiling reduce heat to low.
  4. Preheat Oven to 375°F. Depending on the size of your casserole dish it should fit 8 burritos. Take 1 tortilla fill with beef/beans and a pinch of shredded cheese. Spread cheese all over burrito. Roll and place overlapped side down in dish. Repeat till all beef or dish is filled.
  5. Now that you have all the burritos in the dish take all the Wolf Brand chili and spread across the top of burritos. Then take the last of shredded cheese and spread over the chili.
  6. Place in Preheat Oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Once done spread diced tomatoes over the top. Add some Sour Cream and Guac. Thanks for checking it out hope you enjoy!!
